If possible, try to find a jet broker or operator and obtain several quotes for the date you will need to travel.  You will find that the prices may vary greatly.  Try to find brokers in your area because the less repositioning needed, the cheaper it will be.  You may also find several different options available for your travel.  Always try to narrow your choices down to two before making a decision.  Check each company’s cancellation policies as these can vary widely.  You can also check online for even more options for jet charter.

Remember that if you are planning a trip to a highly attended event (such as the super bowl) that the available times of departure may be more limited.  Try not to change dates and times.  Thousands of other people are making travel plans for this same time so even private jet charter may be a little more restrictive than normal.  You will still find, overall that it is more convenient than commercial flights.

If you have business meetings back to back in different cities, be sure to discuss this with the charter company.  You may be able to get good deals by booking on certain days.  Again, contacting a jet broker often gets more questions answered at once but even speaking with each individual charter company is worth the effort.
